What can I point a name at?
Either a hostname, such as yourapp.vercel.app, or the public IPv4 address of your own server. You choose when you claim the name.
How long until it works?
Once the record is published, most networks pick it up within minutes. A few can take up to an hour.
Which names can't I claim?
Names shorter than 3 characters, and names we keep for the service, such as www, mail and admin. Names can use letters, numbers and single hyphens.
What happens when the term ends?
The name is released and anyone can claim it. Renewing online isn't available yet.
